We held another great meeting of the WAEA on June 26-28 in sunny Monterey, California. Attendance of 112 plus 22 guests was about the same as the meeting in Park City, Utah last year. I want to thank Greg Perry for organizing an excellent meeting and making the arrangements for such an enjoyable event. Also I want to thank the Cal Poly folks for organizing a very interesting and informative tour of four agribusiness firms in the Salinas Valley. About 20 percent of the conference attendees participated in the tour. Certainly Monterey, California should stay on our radar as a possible place to hold a meeting.
